Novel filter material hits the pool

Aquapex uses Polymer Group's proprietary Apex technology, which combines advanced web forming and hydroentangling techniques, along with highly developed finishing.
With its superior uniformity and tightly controlled pore size, PGI's Apex technology is becoming a widely used platform in the filtration industry.

Cartridge filters are a growing segment of the market because of the convenience they offer pool and spa owners compared with sand and diatomaceous earth (DE) filters.
A recent study by Pool and Spa News found that 42% of builders nationwide rank cartridges as their number one filter preference.
