A ProSoft product story
Edited by the Engineeringtalk editorial team Jun 4, 2004

Two four-day classes are designed for CAD managers who are guiding their organisations in a transition to MicroStation V8.

ProSoft, developer of the original MicroStation CAD Manager class, will be offering two, four-day classes this summer, designed for CAD managers who are guiding their organisations in a transition to MicroStation V8.

The first class will be held from 22nd to 25th June, under the scenic Wasatch mountain range, in Orem, Utah.

The second class is scheduled for 20th-23rd July in Falmouth, minutes from Portland on the southern coast of Maine.

ProSoft is offering free hotel accommodations to the first eight students in each class.

CAD managers will learn how to design, create, and manage custom workspace configurations, and how to convert a MicroStation V7 workspace to V8.

Instruction will include workspace design concepts, MicroStation configuration variables, operators and pre-processor directives, configuration processing levels, and workspace administration topics.

Students will learn how to manage MicroStation resources including cells, DWG blocks, text and dimension styles, DGNLIB files, CSV files, colour tables, seed files, and more.

Additional topics will include how to manage unlimited levels, using V8 models, and using the new work modes.

Tuition includes courseware and four days of hands-on instruction.

Classes also include continental breakfast, lunch, and refreshments each day, plus dinner at a local restaurant on the Thursday night, a certificate, and special MicroStation CAD Manager jacket.

Space is limited in both classes, so students are encouraged to register early.
