A new gateway solution provides a high-speed client connection to Allen-Bradley EtherNet/IP compatible devices and a wide variety of Hart compatible devices.
A new gateway solution provides a high-speed client connection to Allen-Bradley EtherNet/IP compatible devices and a wide variety of Hart compatible devices including pressure, temperature, and metering.
The 4207-DFNT-Hart product is stand-alone and DIN-rail-mounted, giving full access to all ports for easy implementation.
Other features, include: four configurable channels of Hart multi-drop communication of up to 15 devices on each channel (up to 60 instruments); each Hart channel or EtherNet/IP port is capable of handling up to 100 commands; single EtherNet/IP port with two independent client connections available; Hart master protocol support with dual master possibilities on the network; full access to digital configuration, diagnostics and maintenance information for each connected Hart device; and e-mail reports can be embedded with date, time and data values from internal register database.
The 4207-DFNT-Hart also has a built-in web/FTP server.
The FTP server allows file transfer, directory operations, file viewing and file removal of HTML pages.
The web server allows data to be viewed from any browser via user created HTML pages, providing a cost effective way to view data from anywhere in the world.
All configuration of communication parameters and data mapping is easily accomplished through the editing of a simple text based configuration file.
