The MVI-ADM range of application development modules make it easy for users to easily develop and deploy C applications to run on Allen-Bradley's ControlLogix, PLC, SLC and Flex I/O platforms This powerful, programmable solutions supports two fully isolated serial ports allowing serial field devices to be integrated into Allen-Bradley platforms

MVI-ADM features include: three serial ports, two of which are isolated for field interfaces supporting RS232, RS422 and RS485; two ports are jumper configured for direct or multidrop field communication and one port is used for module setup and configuration and diagnostics; and independent control of the two application ports allowing maximum flexibility and expandability in the design.

Memory usage is completely user configurable, supporting the storage and transfer of up to 5000 registers to/from the control processor.

The MVI-ADM modules are the ideal solution for many applications where serial connectivity needs to be added to an Allen-Bradley platform.

Example applications involving the MVI-ADM module include: barcode scanner interfaces; legacy ASCII protocol connections; terminal port emulation; printer drivers (alarm/status printer); and customised protocol implementations.

As with all ProSoft products, the MVI-ADM module comes with a one-year warranty and unlimited technical support.
