The DL-LS1060 is Sanyo's latest high-output red laser diode, which provides 50mW CW optical power (90mW pulsed), combined with 70C operation in the 658nm wavelength band.

Supplied in a 5.6mm package the DL-LS1060 has a low threshold current of 35mA, typical operating current of 80mA, operating voltage of of 2.7V, differential efficiency of 1.1mW/mA, operating temperature of -10 to +70C and low astigmatism of 1mm.

The DL-LS1060 operates in a TE mode.

The DL-LS1060 is a real index-guided structure with an AlInP current blocking layer, developed for use in high-density optical data storage, such as DVD-R/RW.

It is also suitable for a broad range of industrial applications such as barcode scanners, laser levellers, laser scanners and optical measurement equipment, particularly where high visibility is required.
