Machined springs overcome wound limitations
For those engineers familiar with the traditional wound spring format, Abssac is offering a new way of looking at reliability, performance and attachment by use of a machined spring.
Clamps for use with heavy duty hoses to accommodate higher pressure ratings can be supplied up to 130mm diameter, with larger sizes available to order.
These are suitable for hand or power tool tightening and feature rolled band edges to eliminate hose damage.
Clamps made for smaller diameters, where wide adjustment span is not required, can be supplied as bands or double wire varieties.
Quick release clips, as used on ducting are available in sizes 12.7 to 558.8mm diameters.
Where the effects of temperature variation are to be considered, self clamping hose clips provide the necessary self-adjusting facilities.
Two band widths for diameters up to 20mm can be supplied, with larger sizes also manufactured to order.
Double wire variations in zinc plated high carbon steel wire are manufactured in three standard sizes of 8, 18 and 28mm diameter, with sizes from 7 to 20mm also being available.
Tamper proof hose clamps as recommended for LPG connections can be supplied in single or double ear configuration.
These unobtrusive clamps cover the size range of 5-40mm diameter and combine ease of assembly with sealing consistency and resistance to unauthorised removal.
Other products in the range include button clips, tool clips, and P clips in nylon or steel supplied either with or without EPDM liners ideal for fixing pipes, hoses and cables.
For general restraining or bundling, flame resistant cable ties in nylon 66 can be supplied, together with adjustable multi clips with a tightening force of 100kgf, which can be used singly or in multiples for use on large or irregular shaped loads.
