An ever growing range of shaft spring fixings and washers, together with disc springs are now available in the impressive range of engineering components available from Pinstructure These products are used throughout industry, by production and service engineers for both OEM and service/repair projects

Circlips cover many design variations and shaft sizes, in both imperial and metric variations.

'E' clips, crescent rings and grip rings can be supplied, together with both internal and external fitting circlips.

Also included are products with increased abutment as well as the internal inverted lug-type.

All these items can be supplied in carbon steel with stainless options also available in some ranges, covering shaft OD/bore sizes from 1 - 200mm metric and 0.015 to 8" imperial.

A very wide range of special clips can also be manufactured to order, including other materials such as phosphor bronze.

Clamp type retaining pins, together with both capped and uncapped push-on retainer washers can be supplied.

For general sealing or locking requirements, shims and support washers are available in optional thicknesses and hardness characteristics.

These are supplemented with conical, bowed and waved locking washers, together with safety washers featuring serrations on both convex and concave sides.

For more specialised engineering applications, precision disc springs can be supplied which comply with DIN2093 standards.

These can be used as individual spring washers, but are more commonly combined in parallel or series formations as compact spring packs.

These provide high energy units with high load/space ratios which can be designed to provide digressive, linear or progressive spring rates with fail safe capabilities utilising the same standard components.

Standard materials used for manufacture include carbon, stainless and Chrome Vanadium steels with special material options including Monel, Beryllium Copper etc.
