PC oscilloscopes offer 16bit resolution

The PicoScope 3224 and 3424 high-precision PC oscilloscopes offer fast USB streaming when used with PicoScope 6 software.

The PicoScope 3224 and 3424 high-precision PC oscilloscopes are now able to offer 16bit resolution when used with PicoScope 6 software.

They now also offer fast USB streaming when used with the new software.

The fast streaming mode operates automatically whenever the user selects time bases of 200ms or slower.

In fast streaming mode, the sample rate can now be as high as 256ksamples per second depending on the PC in use, allowing high-speed, gap-free recording of data.

PicoScope 3000 high-precision PC oscilloscopes have large memory buffers that allow even long-duration signals to be captured at the top sampling speed of 20MS/s.

They offer 1% voltage accuracy and 100 parts per million timebase accuracy.

Timebases from 500ns/div to 50 s/div and voltage ranges from +/- 20mV to +/- 20V make them suitable for a range of applications, including general analogue, audio and digital design and repair.

With their improved 16bit resolution, the oscilloscopes produce excellent high-quality waveforms that can be vertically zoomed to reveal even higher levels of detail.

This resolution gives the instruments a 96dB dynamic range, which enables them to detect low-level harmonics when used in spectrum analyser mode, for applications such as noise and vibration analysis.
