OEMs have approached PMC to develop an extruded cost-effective material for them to use.
For example, one such OEM wanted a material that could be used to create garage doors and windows.
So Premier Material Concepts has developed several varieties of resins for different outdoor applications.
One is a thin clear, UV resistant cap over coloured ABS.
Another is thin, coloured, UV resistant cap over HIPS.
Lastly the company produces an ASA resin over standard ABS.
All are run as co-extruded products for efficiency and cost.
A hair-cell finish is also often used to for additional durability.
PMC will work with any customer to design a product for their specific need like garage doors/windows, including special blends and colour matching.
