Piher has been shipping lead-free versions of its sensors since February 2004.

Piher earned its coveted ISO14001 certification in February 2000, and since February 2004 has been shipping Pb-free components that comply with the End of Life Vehicles Directive and RoHS Directive "Concern for the environment commands much more than just goodwill"

"It also delivers important cost savings through better use of energy, careful selection of raw materials and controlled recycling of waste products which all contribute to securing vital competitive advantage for us and for our customers", said John Adams, Marketing Manager.

"Although RoHS is required by 1st July 2006, enabling our customers to become lead free in the best timelines, one more time positions our company as one reliable long-term partner in the sensors industry".

"Internal and third-party Pb-free compliance certificates are available on-demand and we are always open to customers' inquiries", he added. Request a free brochure from Piher International ...
