The PNOZ X7 safety relay is a cost-effective device for emergency stop circuits and guard monitoring applications.

The PNOZ X7 safety relay is a cost-effective device for emergency stop circuits and guard monitoring applications on machinery that requires up to Category 2 to BS EN954-1 for its safety related control circuits.

The PNOZ X7 is half the size of many other relays and can offer substantial cost savings.

With two normally open safety output contacts and a configurable manual or automatic reset, the PNOZ X7 is suitable for many industrial applications, large or small, where the safety devices are relatively unsophisticated.

Customers can choose models to operate from most of the commonly encountered control power sources: 24V DC, or AC supplies of 24, 42, 110, 230 or 240V (50 to 60Hz).

Thanks to the use of space-saving surface-mount electronic components and terminals that are double-stacked, the relay is just 22.5mm wide - which can save valuable space on the 35mm DIN mounting rail.

LEDs on the front indicate the presence of the control power supply as well as the status of the outputs, thereby assisting both the commissioning and maintenance procedures.

In addition to being CE-marked, the relays have BG, UL and cUL approvals.

Customers who have previously used the Pilz Automation Classic range safety relays of type PNOZ 5, PNOZ 9 or PNOZ-Z can realise cost savings in excess of 30% by switching to the PNOZ X7.

Wiring is also easier, and the PNOZ X7 is just half the width of the PNOZ 5 and PNOZ 9 relays.

The PNOZ X7 relay is available for immediate delivery direct from Pilz or via the nationwide network of distributors.
