The PNOZ X2.7P safety relay offers an unusual combination of features for the benefit of panel builders, system integrators and end users.

Suitable for BS EN954-1 Category 2, Category 3 or Category 4 applications, the relay measures just 22.5mm wide, has plug-in terminals, and provides no fewer than three normally open safety contacts and a normally closed auxiliary contact.

Another notable feature is the fast response time of 30ms, which means that the relay is suitable for use with light curtains or other electrosensitive protective equipment as well as conventional safety switching devices - such as, guard switches or emergency stop buttons.

The PNOZ X2.7P has a monitored manual reset facility, while an automatic reset is available on the otherwise-similar PNOZ X2.8P relay.

Both units operate from either a 24V DC or AC power supply and are economically priced.

Three LEDs on the front aid commissioning and maintenance procedures by indicating the status of channel 1, channel 2 and the power supply.

If more safety contacts are required for a particular application, expander modules are available separately.

Both of the relays and the expander modules are available for ex-stock despatch direct from Pilz or via the company's nationwide network of distributors.
