Exploring the boundaries of safety responsibility
Within any organisation there should be somebody at the top level of management who is ultimately responsible for health and safety issues.
Additional courses will be added to the schedule as they become available during the year.
The first section of the schedule concentrates on directives and standards: "Machine builders regulations and standards"; "Design of hard-wired electrical safety related control systems for machinery"; "Requirements for maintaining plant and machinery - safety related controls"; City and Guilds 4-day machinery safety course; 5-day IOSH managing safety course - incorporating machinery safety; and "Introduction to BS EN61508 (IEC61508)".
In addition, the following product-related training courses are available: PSS (programmable safety system) programming; PSS/SafetyBus p programming; PSS service and troubleshooting; PSS/SafetyBus p service and troubleshooting; and PNOZmulti introduction and programming.
Note that Pilz can also tailor courses to meet the specific needs of customers, and arrangements can be made for training courses - either standard or tailored - to be run at a customer's premises or at an off-site location close to the customer if that is more convenient.
