With the release of the Pilz PNOZmulti Configurator software version 4, users can create more complex safety-related control programs for execution on PNOZmulti modular controllers.
Additional safety functions in the drag-and-drop Configurator enable users to create safety-related control systems that use safety mats, safety gates with interlocks, pushbuttons, limit switches, key switches, foot switches and light curtains with muting functions.
For those who use the PNOZmulti to perform standard automation control functions, version 5 of the Configurator enables the cascading output from the PNOZmulti to be used as an output for standard control functions.
Pilz has recently announced the PVIS expanded diagnostic concept and version 5 of the Configurator can be used to create the error messages and set up the PVIS diagnostics when a compact PMImicro diag diagnostic display is connected to the PNOZmulti controller.
Any customers that have bought a licence for the PNOZmulti Configurator software since 1st January 2006 are entitled to a free upgrade.
