Common Vision Blox (CVB) is an advanced machine vision development toolkit for integrators and OEMs.

Common Vision Blox (CVB) is an advanced machine vision development toolkit for integrators and OEMs.

Being both hardware and platform independent, it is one of the most flexible and easy to implement software products available on the market today for developing vision applications.

CVB version 8.0 brings many important improvements and innovations to industrial imaging.

i-Tuition is a newly developed graphical user interface which allows applications to be developed without the need for programming knowledge; ideal for rapid prototyping and deployment.

It significantly improves productivity and is flexible enough for even the most experienced programmer to gain an advantage.

CVB version 8 also supports all the latest compilers from Microsoft, along with Borland such as Delphi and Builder.

Also an industry first is the support for both PCs and embedded smart cameras.

Version 8 supports the new JAI ThinkEye an IP67 rated smart camera with Internet connectivity.

For the first time a developer can choose to deploy an application on either PCs or 'smart cameras' using the same code and tools.

Many other enhancements have been made to the CVB tools including dot ping support on data matrix barcode reading, a network driver for remote data acquisition and camera control plus support for many more framegrabbers.

CVB includes optimised drivers for the most important image processing components such as cameras, image acquisition boards, lighting equipment etc.

from a variety of manufacturers, and more than 30 software tools are now available, enabling flexible, economic solutions to any image processing task.

Common Vision Blox supports standard and special cameras (high-resolution, high-speed, line scan cameras etc) from a number of different manufacturers.
