A new range of UV ring lights from CCS have a peak wavelength of 365nm and are ideal for any inspection where fluorescent targets needs to be illuminated.

Application areas include print inspection, security mark inspection, and medical and scientific imaging.

The CCS UV ring lights share the same high build quality as the other CCS illumination products, and in common with the other lights in the LDR2 range, the UV ring lights use the same heat dissipation material to direct the unwanted heat away from the LEDs.

This increases the efficiency of the units and extends their life.

When used for illuminating highly magnified targets, UV illumination can resolve far smaller features than visible light, due to the shorter wavelength of the light.

This can considerably improve the resulting image quality and can significantly simplify the vision application.

The UV series is available in a range of different sizes.
