The uEye USB CMOS cameras are ultra-small-bodied machine vision cameras that use the USB 2.0 or USB 1.1 interface They are equipped with high quality CMOS sensors (1/3, 1/2, and 1/1.8in) with resolutions from 640 x 480 up to 2048 x 1536 pixels

The models output up to 55 frames per second at full resolution, and up to 100 frames per second using area of interest (AOI), and have 4Mbit of internal memory for image storage.

The cameras are housed in an ultrasmall and rugged industrial housing measuring an amazing 34 x 32 x 34.4mm.

The cameras use either a standard USB interface or a screw locking interfaces which offer trigger and digital output.

Camera control is handled through the USB interface.

By using the USB interface, these cameras are ideal for use with notebooks, PCs and embedded systems, and will find applications in image processing and factory automation markets.

Offered free of charge with all uEye cameras is the powerful software development kit.

In addition, system drivers are available for the most popular OSs and vision software products including: Windows 2K, XP and Linux, the uEye SDK, Twain, ActiveX, WDM (Direct Show) ActivVisionTools, Common Vision Blox, Halcon and NeuroCheck, allowing easy application integration.

The memory in these cameras allows for a staggered transmission of images in multiple camera applications, and also allows use of USB 1.1 ports, though at a reduced frame rate when compared to USB 2.0.
