Firstsight Vision is part of the Stemmer Imaging Group, which was a founder member of the groups that have been working on both standards under the auspices of the European Machine Vision Association.
With version 1.0 of the Genicam standard having been officially released in September, delegates at this meeting will be amongst the first to be able to meet and discuss with members of the GigE standards committee as well as gaining valuable knowledge on the technology and its advantages through a series of presentations.
Topics covered will include detailed explanations of the GigE Vision and Genicam standards and their interrelation, together with a discussion of their future importance.
