CMOS camera provides detailed
information

The CamRecord 1000 can be used as a flexible inspection tool within a manufacturing environment to provide highly detailed information to establish the source of faults on various production lines.

Firstsight Vision's range of cameras for high speed applications has grown with the addition of the CamRecord 1000 camera from Optronis Ideally suited for a wide variety of high speed industrial inspection applications, the Camrecord 1000 CMOS camera provides colour images at frame rates up to an impressive 1000 frames per second at 1280 x 1024 pixels, and higher frame-rates of up to 200,000 frame/s can be achieved if windowing is used to sample a smaller number of pixels

The CamRecord 1000 can be used as a flexible inspection tool within a manufacturing environment to provide highly detailed information to establish the source of faults on various production lines.

The camera is housed in a compact enclosure that is both rugged and dust- proof, allowing it to be used in more demanding industrial environments.

Application areas include industrial vision applications and science and military (process inspection) as well as process and fault analysis.

Featuring an integrated video memory of up to 4Gbyte and using the FireWire-a interface for easy interconnection, the CamRecord 1000 is easy to handle and provides the operator with a wide choice of computer operating environments to view and store the camera's high-speed sequences.

The camera features a global shutter with exposure times down to 1us with a better than 99.9% accuracy, freezing even the fastest movements and eliminating the image artefacts that are prevalent with other shutter technologies.

The CamRecord 1000 is supplied with a turn key software system running under Windows that provides full control of the camera.

It allows display of images in real time for optical alignment or to acquire sequences of images for later image analysis.

Export of sequences in industry standard movie formats allows the images to be displayed within presentations and common multimedia players. Request a free brochure from Firstsight Vision ...
