The latest full-colour 20-page product bulletin available from Pittman profiles the complete line of Lo-Cog brush-commutated DC servomotors designed for smooth, quiet operation and long life in applications such as computer peripherals, imaging equipment, and clinical diagnostic and automatic test equipment, among many others "Bulletin LCM" covers Lo-Cog Series 8000, 9000 and 14000 DC brush-commutated motors and includes specifications and performance data

Speeds up to 10,650rev/min and peak torques up to 410oz-in can be achieved.

Lo-Cog brush DC motors are offered in a wide range of models and in varying lengths with five-, seven- or 11-slot skewed armature designs to minimise magnetic cogging.

Each model features standard and custom windings, which are resin-impregnated for reliability in incremental motion applications.

Two-pole permanent magnet stators are constructed of ceramic magnets enclosed in heavy-gauge steel return rings.

Diamond-turned commutators ensure maximum brush life.

Modular construction promotes customisation with components to meet specific application requirements, such as alternate brush materials, cartridge brush assemblies, spur or planetary gearheads, encoders, timing belt pulleys, brakes, cables, connectors, modified shafts, and RFI suppression or other special configurations.
