Lo-Cog 22mm brush-commutated iron-core DC motors from Pittman are ideal for applications requiring the power of an "ironless core" or "coreless" motor without the associated cost.

Lo-Cog 22mm brush-commutated iron-core DC motors from Pittman are ideal for applications requiring the power of an "ironless core" or "coreless" motor without the associated cost Typical applications include image processing, semiconductor processing and mass data storage equipment, computer peripherals and office automation, and countless others where DC motors must be relatively small, yet powerful

Lo-Cog 22mm brush DC motors are available in three lengths (1.256, 1.556 and 1.901in), which includes the newest longer model providing up to 40% more continuous torque (up to 2oz-in) compared with shorter 22mm-diameter products.

These motors can achieve maximum peak torques up to 10.2oz-in and speeds up to 8550rev/min.

Using a skewed five-slot armature design and bonded neodymium iron boron magnets, Lo-Cog 22mm (Series 6000) motors can provide more power than most other DC motors of similar size.

Their modular design enables easy customisation with cables, shaft-mounted pulleys and gears, ball bearings, multiple windings, optical encoders, planetary gearheads, and other component options to satisfy the most demanding application requirements.
