Brushed DC servos boast precision at
lower cost
MAE M500 and M600 series brushed DC servomotors are available for continuous torque applications from 0.1 to 1.4Nm with peak torque ratings from 0.5 to 6.4Nm.
MAE M500 and M600 series brushed DC servomotors are available for continuous torque applications from 0.1 to 1.4Nm with peak torque ratings from 0.5 to 6.4Nm The range offers a highly dynamic, smooth and precise performance at reasonable cost when compared with brushless motors and is the preferred choice for many applications such as medical and mobility equipment, office automation, packaging machinery and CNC systems where the lower cost and simplicity of brushed DC servo control systems is a significant benefit

The M500 range has a nominal diameter of 57mm and is available four standard lengths, the larger M600 range is 83mm nominal diameter and available in two lengths.
Both sizes are generously rated for high performance and include speeds to 6000rev/min, terminal voltage up to 60V DC, voltage constant ranging from 9 to 25V per 1000rev/min and torque constant in a range of 0.05 to 0.19Nm/A.
M series motors have a traditional design and can be form-fit replacements for ElectroCraft motors.
Customisation options include special shafts, double shafts and nonstandard mounting.
Motor only and motor-tacho versions are available along with a number of optical encoder options.
