Transducers provide an easy-to-use
interface

MCR-SL-PT100 temperature transducers offer a simple, convenient and exceptionally cost-effective method of interfacing Pt100 temperature transducers with instruments and control systems.

For project applications, where operating requirements are well defined, the latest MCR-SL-PT100 temperature transducers from Phoenix Controls offer a simple, convenient and exceptionally cost-effective method of interfacing Pt100 temperature transducers with instruments and control systems Just 12.5mm wide, units are ideal for use in large systems, where substantial space savings can be achieved

Factory preprogrammed in line with the user's requirements, MCR-SL-PT100 temperature sensors are supplied ready for immediate installation.

They are suitable for all Pt100 sensors, whether they use two-, three- or four-wire connections, and produce an analogue output which is linearly related to temperature.

This can be selected as 0-20mA, 4-20mA, 0-10V or 0-5V.

The measuring range for MCR-SL-PT100 transducers can be freely selected to cover temperatures from -100 to +600C, and factory preprogramming options include line-break, underrange or overrange behaviour.

The units are designed for operation from nominal 24V DC supplies, and are fitted with Phoenix Contact Combicon plug-in screw-terminal connectors for ease of installation and wiring To ensure maximum versatility, the new transducers feature three-way isolation: the inputs are isolated from the outputs, and the power supply is isolated from both the inputs and the outputs.

This allows the units to be used in virtually any application, irrespective of whether signal or power connections are earthed.

Modern microcontroller-based circuitry ensures high accuracy - better than 0.4% - and maximum reliability.

The transducers clip directly onto standard DIN rail, and have an ambient operating temperature range of -20 to +55C.

They conform fully to the EMC requirements of EN50081-2 for emitted interference, and EN50082-2 for immunity. Request a free brochure from Phoenix Contact ...
