No base needed for through-the-wall
connector
Designed for direct mounting through the walls of metal enclosures, Heavycon Advance connectors eliminate the need to use mounting bases, reducing costs by as much as 30% and saving valuable space.
Designed for direct mounting through the walls of metal enclosures, connectors in the new Heavycon Advance range from Phoenix Contact completely eliminate the need to use mounting bases, thereby reducing costs by as much as 30%, and also saving valuable space A simple, but secure, screw-type locking mechanism, ideally suited for applications where the connection will be made and broken infrequently, also contributes toward cost savings

Rail-mounting universal supply saves panel space
Only 22.5mm wide, the new rail-mounting Mini-PS power supply from Phoenix Contact offers big savings in valuable panel space.
Easy to install, these innovative connectors have an IP67 ingress protection rating, and provide up to 50% more connection space than conventional connectors of a similar size.
The fixed part of the connector is simply secured by screws to the enclosure wall, which requires only a standard sized cutout.
A conductive gasket supplied with the connector provides an effective seal, and ensures good EMC performance.
To accommodate the cabled part of Heavycon Advance connectors, Phoenix Contact offers a choice of three types of backshell.
The economical standard backshell is ideal for all normal operating conditions, such as those encountered in automotive industry and mechanical handling applications.
The corrosion-resistant backshell provides improved durability in harsh environments and climatic conditions, while the EMC backshell enhances the already excellent EMC performance of the connectors, and is designed for use with sensitive equipment that requires the best possible shielding against extraneous fields.
All backshells are manufactured from durable aluminium die-cast alloy, and all are fitted, as standard, with metric M25 to M40 cable glands.
Depending on the backshell type, the securing screws are either galvanised or stainless steel, both types being specially designed to ensure that the connector remains firmly mated, even when exposed to high levels of vibration.
To ensure maximum versatility, Heavycon Advance connectors are compatible with all Phoenix Contact B-format HC connector inserts, which are available with between 6 and 24 poles, and ratings up to 16A at 500V.
For higher operating voltages, special HV inserts can be supplied. Request a free brochure from Phoenix Contact ...
