Terminals reduce space for fuse
protection

ST4-HESI fused spring-clamp terminals are the smallest fuse terminals of their type, and typically reduce the space required to accommodate fused connections by as much as 20%.

Just 6mm wide, the new ST4-HESI fused spring-clamp terminals from Phoenix Contact are the smallest fuse terminals of their type currently available, and typically reduce the space required to accommodate fused connections by as much as 20% This makes them ideal for device and wiring protection in instrumentation and control applications

A further benefit of the new terminals is their integral bridging system, which makes them fast and easy to use in applications requiring common connections to a group of terminals.

Suitable for use with 5 x 20mm cylindrical fuses, the new ST4-HESI terminals can also be freely mixed with nonfused ST4 terminals, which use the same bridging system, to provide maximum flexibility in power distribution and similar applications.

In ST4-HESI terminals, the fuses are accommodated in hinged carriers, making them easy to replace.

This arrangement also allows convenient temporary isolation of individual circuits simply by lifting the fuse carrier and swinging it away from the terminal.

An extremely useful aid during commissioning and fault finding, this feature is complemented by the availability of an LED indicator option, which provides an instant visual indication of fuse failure for circuits operating between 12 and 250V.

Designed for use with solid conductors up to 6mm2 or flexible conductors up to 4mm2, Phoenix Contact's innovative ST4-HESI fuse terminals feature spring-clamp connections.

These not only cut wiring time by as much as 50% compared with conventional screw-clamp terminals, but also provide connections which are highly resistant to the effects of vibration and shock. Request a free brochure from Phoenix Contact ...
