Variosub panel feedthrough D-sub connectors, now available in 9-, 15- and 25-pin formats, enable several D-sub contact inserts to be connected within an IP67 industrial environment.

Phoenix Contact's new Variosub panel feedthrough D-sub connectors, now available in 9-, 15- and 25-pin formats, enable several D-sub contact inserts to be connected within an IP67 industrial environment.

The feedthrough connectors, designed for mounting through control cabinet walls, have a push-pull locking system for simple, rapid installation and use.

The Variosub D-sub plug connector, to protection category IP67, can be connected on the field side, while a customary D-sub connector to category IP20 can be integrated and locked on the inside of a control cabinet.

With these plug connectors, two integrated cable glands enable fieldbus networks to be implemented easily, with the separate introduction of the cable.

Pluggable coding profiles guard against improper connections, and labelling plates ensure quick identification on completion.

Customary D-sub contact inserts for signals and power are available using common connection technology and easy-to-wire screw connections.
