Thanks to the new Phoenix Contact AB-SK 65-D shield support, cable shields can be connected on both sides of the mounting rail, offering space savings of up to 35 per cent The support has a holding fixture for the 3x10mm standard neutral conductor bus bar on both sides of the mounting rail

The cable shield can then be easily mounted to a large area using Phoenix Contact SK shield terminals.

The support comes in two versions, one of which contains an additional integrated dissipation plate, which is directly contacted with the mounting rail during mounting.

This means the interference potential is directly dissipated to PE potential.

Without a dissipation plate there is no direct contact to the mounting rail as well as between the neutral conductor bus bars.

This solution is required if the cable shield is not directly connected or looped through the PE, but is to be led from the neutral conductor bus bar to a PE neutral point.
