The Factory Line FL Switch SF range of standard switches provides rapid and inexpensive network expansion down to field level.

The Factory Line FL Switch SF range of standard switches provides rapid and inexpensive network expansion down to field level Their flat construction and high port density make the components suitable for universal applications, including control panels and compact terminal boxes

The FL Switch SF range has eight or sixteen RJ45 ports and supports the autonegotiation functionality for 10/100Mbit/s transfer rates in mixed mode.

With this function, the linking of network segments or end devices can be set with identical or differing data transfer rates.

The autocrossing function renders the differentiation between the 1:1 and crossover types of cable assembly superfluous.

The switches automatically detect the assignment of the Ethernet cables and adjust accordingly.

With the fibre-optic cable ports, the segment length of a network can bridge up to 2km and is ideal in harsh environments.

The switches have a redundant power supply and a zero-voltage signalling contact.

The FL Switch SF range, together with the inexpensive TX versions, offer an extremely cost-effective setup of Ethernet networks for industrial applications.
