The compact modular Inline I/O system, at just 55mm high, can be installed to solve a range of automation problems The I/O system offers maximum flexibility and security for a wide range of applications; either with fine granularity via digital inputs and outputs with 1, 2, 4, 8, 16 or 32 channels, or with high reliability using analogue sensors and actuators

Due to the compact size and low height the modules provide a large number of channels within a small area saving valuable control panel space.

With its bus openness and cost-effective standard I/Os with up to 32 channels per module, even special functions are part of the standard specification, including security technology, sensor communication (Hart), and control processes for rapid and reliable on site operation.

The Inline automation concept combined with Inline Block I/O offers a simple solution, combining flexibility with application-dependent parameters allowing for easy retrofitting and future system developments providing maximum return on investment costs.
