PSUs run from single- and three-phase
supplies
Phoenix Contact has three new variable-output power supplies with in the range 40-56V DC that supply 5A from a single-phase input and 10A and 20A from a three-phase supply.
Phoenix Contact has three new variable-output power supplies with in the range 40-56V DC that supply 5A from a single-phase input and 10A and 20A from a three-phase supply The power supplies have universal inputs and are suitable for worldwide use, even on high-voltage DC supplies
The range is ideally suited to meet the increasing use of 48V DC for applications with long cabling runs where power loss is a problem, also for powering DC motors in large machines where there is a high starting moment.
There are also applications for LED lighting systems that operate at 40V DC.
On unstable networks the power supplies provide a minimum of 20ms hold up, and their power reserve is capable of reliably starting loads with high starting currents.
The status of the DC output is reported using both a relay output and an active transistor output with clear LED signalling.
