The PTSA 0.5/xxx-2.5 spring-cage PCB terminal block family from Phoenix Contact is distinguished by a user-friendly, angular spring cage connection.

It clamps rigid and flexible wires up to 0.5mm2 with a 2.5mm pitch.

Because of the minimised width and the compact exterior dimensions, this family of terminal blocks is especially suited to applications where space is a major consideration.

Typical applications include telecommunications and lighting devices.

Spring cage PCB terminals are available with the terminal blocks in the front and a row of either straight or offset soldering pins.

The zigzag pinning increases the voltage to values up to 400V.

Due to the pinning and colour coding, individual terminal blocks can be easily combined.

Based on the configuration, it is possible to combine PTSA 0.5 with PTSA 1.5 terminals to enable the necessary conductor cross-section to be connected with minimal clearance.
