The Trusted Wireless system from Phoenix Contact can be installed in ATEX Zone 2 hazardous areas.

The RAD-ISM-2400-SET-UD-ANT unidirectional wireless transmission system is designed for high reliability applications in process industries where it is difficult or expensive to lay cables.

The wireless system transmits one 4-20mA analogue and two digital signals over ranges up to 3000m to one or more receivers.

Using the licence exempt 2.4GHz ISM band the system is based on frequency-hopping spread-spectrum technology, which is capable of tolerating high levels of interference and allows multiple systems to operate in the same area.

The system is simple to set up and has a wide supply voltage specification allowing it to be used with battery or solar power systems.
