A new series of universal screw terminal blocks feature a spring-loaded snap-on grounding foot and standardised plug-in bridge.

The latest series of universal screw terminal blocks from Phoenix Contact feature a spring-loaded, snap-on grounding foot and standardised plug-in bridge.

Potentials can be distributed quickly across all the terminals in the range due to the double bridging shaft.

With the same shape as function terminals, the UT-Twin and UT-Quattro multiconductor terminal blocks are available with cross-sections of 2.5 and 4mm2.

The compact UT 4 HESI fuse terminal block (5 x 20) with 4mm2 screw connection features a plug-in, double bridging shaft, which is designed to fit all UT terminal blocks in line.

This enables quick potential distribution to the 4mm2 feed-through, knife, lever-type disconnect and multiconductor terminal blocks, which are the same profile.

Time and so money can be saved, particularly when assembling and wiring control circuits.

As part of the Clipline complete system from Phoenix Contact, all terminal blocks in the UT range are designed for use with accessories from other systems.

As well as featuring the same bridging system, the complete range of labelling and testing accessories match with the Quickon spring cage, and direct connection systems.

This allows combinations of all terminal blocks of the four different connection technologies to be combined at will.
