Surge voltage protector features a diagnostics unit that continually monitors the protector and delivers status reports.

The Plugtrab PT/FM surge voltage protector for MSR technology-protected signal interfaces features a diagnostics unit that continually monitors the unit and delivers status reports.

The diagnostics unit is permanently supplied with voltage via the emergency current connection directly on the protective device, irrespective of the user signal to be protected.

A green LED signals interference-free operation.

If the protective function is reported to have overloaded, the indicator turns red.

Above all, it allows a remote signal to be established with the connection's built-in signalling contact.

That ensures the highly secure functional maintenance of the installed surge voltage protection.

The surge voltage devices have the Plugtrab family's good product features, such as impedance-neutral plugging and unplugging, high security installation with encoding as well as a slim casing.

All devices can be tested with the Checkmaster.
