The user can monitor the operating status via LEDs on the MACX MCR-SL-CAC-5-I(-UP) transducer.

Phoenix Contact is introducing a new generation of power transducers for amperometry: the MACX MCR-SL-CAC-5-I(-UP) transducer allows easy customer configuration through the front-side DIP switch.

The user can monitor the operating status via LEDs on the device.

The user can also save on time and costs by implementing a flexible energy supply concept.

The transducers can be supplied with power over the mounting rail connections.

A high ambient temperature range and high over-current capacity are the distinguishing features of this product.

The power transducers convert sinusoidal alternating currents of 1A or 5A to standard analogue signals of 0 to 20mA or 4 to 20mA.

Two variants are available: a 24V DC version with 19.2 to 30V DC and a broad-range version with 19.2 to 253V AC/DC.

With the 24V DC module, users can also supply power over the mounting rails.

Thanks to the reduced wiring needs, both time and costs are saved.

The transducer is used wherever a transducer current has to be converted into a standard signal for further processing.
