Modular bus coupler with eight digital inputs can be used to connect a Fieldline Modular local bus station to a Profinet I/O network.

Phoenix Contact's FLM BK PN M12 DI8 M12-2TX Fieldline Modular bus coupler with eight digital inputs can connect a Fieldline Modular local bus station to a Profinet I/O network.

The integrated, manageable three-port switch makes setting up a linear bus topology possible.

The device's transfer rate is 100Mbit/s, and its interfaces can switch receive and transmit lines automatically (autocrossover).

The bus coupler also supports the SNMP v2c, Profinet IO, TFTP, and LLDP protocols.

The device's topology recognition is supported by PDev.

Dynamic configuration options facilitate planning of a maximum configuration that accommodates any subgroup.

A system redundancy feature is present for process data.

The bus coupler establishes a powerful local bus with a selectable transfer rate of 500Kbaud and 2Mbaud.

Up to 16 I/O devices or, alternatively, PCP devices can be connected.

The diagnostic and status displays for the power supply and network and local bus operation with corresponding monitoring functions reduce bus downtime and provide support when servicing is necessary.
