Power Systems and CEG supply UPS systems to Khalda

A Power Systems International product story
Edited by the Engineeringtalk editorial team Dec 10, 2008

Power Systems International and CEG have been awarded a contract to supply their industrial UPS systems and batteries to the Khalda Petroleum Company gas train project in Egypt.

The industrial UPS systems are already in use in many of the oil and gas EPCs operating in Europe, the Middle East and Asia.

The UPS systems can be used in desert environments and high ambient temperatures.

The life expectancy of the systems is upwards of 20 years.

The UPS systems provide continuous and closely regulated power to the critical equipment and computers on the gas processing plant.
