Parker acquires T Squared Manufacturing Corp

The Parker Life Science Business Unit has completed its first acquisition and looks forward to fast and efficient integration of the T Squared products into this business unit.

"Our primary objectives are to leverage the Pneutronics brand within the Life Science OEM marketplace while delivering enabling technologies, greater value and product breadth to these OEM's", said Division Sales and Marketing Manager, Rob Howard.

Adding: "The Parker Life Science Business Unit will focus its strategies around technology, logistics and systems integration as the primary differentiation over our competition within this market space".

"Providing a single source supply and engineered solution for miniature solenoid valves and miniature diaphragm pumps is what the Life Science OEM has demanded and what Pneutronics has delivered", said Jim Heselton, General Manager.

He continued: "This acquisition is integral to Parker's branding strategy for the Life Science OEM market".

Mike Portela, Life Science Business Unit Manager, explained: "The T Squared product offering combined with the Pneutronics and General Valve miniature multimedia valve technologies will enable the Parker Life Science Business Unit to design and deliver engineered and custom solutions, miniature integrated systems and large scale systems integration for a full range ambulatory, portable and larger OEM systems".

The T Squared manufacturing facility will remain in Lincoln Park, NJ.

Thomas Theilemeier, President of T Squared emphasised: "The association with Parker has already produced significant growth opportunities for T Squared".

He added: "Our customers will no longer have to work with two separate suppliers in order to specify miniature valves and miniature diaphragm pumps - they now have one source for assisting them with their applications and requirements".
