The standard horizontal design of the vessels and the high flow coreless cartridge configuration, combine to ensure that cartridge change is quick, easy and more environmentally friendly.
Vertical vessels are an option.
MegaFlow multi-cartridge filter vessels are available in nine models designed to hold up to nineteen 950 l/min MegaFlow or MegaFlow Plus cartridges, with a total flow rate of 18,000 l/min.
The vessels are manufactured from carbon steel, 304L stainless steel and 316L stainless steel, and are available in 10 bar and 20 bar versions for maximum operating temperature of 121C.
The vessels have a slight pitch to prevent liquid from spilling when the cover is opened.
Cartridge tops are located flush with the covers to facilitate cartridge change.
Each six inch (152 mm) diameter MegaFlow cartridge has flow capacity equal to 10 standard 2.5 inch (63.5 mm) OD x 40 inch (1016 mm) long cartridges.
High surface area pleated design provides low pressure drop and longer service life than other cartridges.
MegaFlow filter cartridges have nominal ratings of 0.5 æm, 1æm, 5æm and 10æm.
MegaFlow Plus filter cartridges have absolute ratings from 1æm to 70æm.
MegaFlow and MegaFlow Plus cartridges are available with either pleated thermally bonded polypropylene or phenolic resin bonded cellulose filter media to prevent particle bleed through and unloading that commonly occur with wound cartridges.
MegaFlow Plus is also available in microfibreglass media.
Polypropylene and microfibreglass cartridges comply with relevant FDA regulations. Request a free brochure from Parker Hannifin - Filter Division ...
