Indicators and switches check on hydraulic fluid

Parker Filtration Europe has further extended its comprehensive range of hydraulic reservoir equipment with the introduction of three ranges of fluid level indicators and switches - the FLG Series contents gauges, the FS Series adjustable float switches and the CLS46 capacitive level switches.
The FLG Series contents gauges provide a comprehensive range of mechanical, top-of-tank spiral gauges and caps designed to fit small hydraulic and fuel tanks in off-road construction and agricultural equipment, garden tractors, generators, portable containers and marine fuel tanks.
The FLG Series uses a simple and trouble-free mechanism for reliability and long-life and is intended to offer a low-cost solution to fluid level measurement requirements.
The standard range offers various header sizes, depth options and dial faces.
Special variants can be adapted to meet special applications.
The FS Series of adjustable electrical, top-of-tank float switches is a range of vertically mounted single level float switches operating on the proven reed switch and magnet principle.
The FS switch can be tailored by the user for a particular application by adjusting the length of the float switch stem.
Additionally, the switching configuration can be changed by inverting the float, giving either normally open or normally closed operation.
Header and stem are produced in brass, and the float from nitrophyl or polypropylene.
Switching temperatures are 5 to 115C in 5C increments.
The FS switch is ideally suited for use on industrial power units where immediate feedback of fluid level is required.
The CLS46 capacitive level switch is a side-of-tank electronic unit designed to detect the loss of fluid below its position on the tank.
It has no moving parts and is therefore suitable for all applications, particularly where space and access inside the vessel is at a premium.
Suitable for any free flowing liquid at maximum pressure of 2bar, the units feature an electronic circuit which reduces the effects of turbulence to a minimum, and is ideally suited for use on mobile equipment where remote electrical feedback of the fluid level condition is needed.
