The units can also be used for diesel fuel dispensing pumps or as a primary fuel filter/water separator for large diesel engines.
Depending on the cartridge elements installed and fuel being filtered, FBO-10 will handle flow rates up to 150 litre/min for JET A1 or 75 litre/min with diesel.
The FBO-14 is rated at 227 litre/min for JET A1 or 113 litre/min for diesel.
Both models are suitable for jet fuel, aviation gas, diesel fuel, petrol and kerosene, JP4, JP5 and JP8 at maximum pressure of 10bar at 115C.
The assembly features a locking ring collar (no clamps) that attaches the filter housing to the aluminium die-cast filter head with four bolts.
The slotted locking ring collar allows maintenance personnel to hand-loosen the four collar bolts, rotate and lower the steel filter bowl assembly for element changeouts.
With the new element installed, the bowl is simply raised and rotated into position on the locking ring and hand tightened.
The closure system consists of stainless steel nuts, bolts and washers with metal thumb wheels for ease of maintenance one person can easily change the filter element.
