Self-sealing spring speeds filter
changes

A new self-sealing spring mechanism replaces the traditional reusable metal top seat spring assembly for double open end filter cartridge installations.

A new self-sealing spring mechanism replaces the traditional reusable metal top seat spring assembly for double open end filter cartridge installations and brings about easier and faster cartridge changeout within the process industries, particularly chemical, food, beverage and coatings Designed for use with all Parker 2.5in OD wound, pleated and bonded cartridges, the new integral (welded), polypropylene self-sealing spring, in conjunction with a standard extended core, eliminates all loose metal components in the vessel and reduces the risk of bypass on conventional double open ended cartridges

The self-sealing spring eliminates the need for a metal top seat spring assembly and will be the particularly advantageous in industrial multicartridge vessels.

In effect, the self-sealing spring results in a single open end design, but with the open end still sealing on a knife-edge sump seat. Request a free brochure from Parker Hannifin - Filter Division ...
