The Racor Filtration Division of Parker Hannifin has introduced its award winning Racor fuel filter primer pump to provide high efficiency remote electronic fuel repriming of filters.

The Racor Filtration Division of Parker Hannifin has introduced its award winning Racor fuel filter primer pump to provide high efficiency remote electronic fuel repriming of filters The FilterPump, which recently received an Innovation award from the National Marine Manufacturers Association and Boating Writers International at the 65th Miami International Boat Show, has been designed to significantly improve ease of maintenance, as well as being easy to install by boat owners and builders as it is supplied as a preassembled kit including all necessary components

Manufactured from high quality materials with a die cast and powder painted housing, the FilterPump consists of a 100um prescreen filter, a flow bypass circuit and a robust roller-cell pump powered by either a 12V DC brushed motor or a 24V DC brushless motor.

When installed, the FilterPump adds only 84mm to the complete assembly length.

In operation fuel is drawn into the prescreen and then pumped through the housing, thereby refilling the unit with fuel.

In priming mode the innovative system operates at a flow rate of 227 litre/h.

When it is not in use the fuel filter primer pump is bypassed and the Racor fuel filter/water separator functions normally.

A crossover priming tube kit for the Racor duplex and triplex filter system is currently in development, which will allow one Racor FilterPump to prime the other filter or filters in a manifold system, such as a 751000MAX. Request a free brochure from Parker Hannifin - Filter Division ...
