Plast-O-Matic Valves' MFR shut off valves operate despite the valve outlet pressure being as high as the inlet pressure.
Plast-O-Matic Valves has introduced a 12.7mm palm or foot operated shut-off valve with no metals or external fasteners for high-purity or corrosive environments.
These balanced, compact valves are designed for liquid service to 10bar.
The balanced aspect means that the valve outlet pressure, commonly known as backpressure, can be as high as the inlet pressure without affecting performance.
The normally-closed design has a spring return, and will automatically close "fail safe" when hand or foot force is removed.
The MFR is offered in Grade 1 Type 1 PVC or natural polypropylene for heavy duty applications.
