The VIGI-Lux 5770 satisfies a range of demanding applications including licence plate recognition, infra-red surveillance and industrial machine vision applications.

The VIGI-Lux 5770 from PerkinElmer is the newest member of the VIGI-Lux IR illuminator family and satisfies a range of demanding applications including licence plate recognition, infra-red surveillance and industrial machine vision applications The VIGI-Lux 5770 provides up to 50J per flash of high intensity illumination and is available in both narrow and wide beam configurations

The xenon flashlamp in the VIGI-Lux 5770 allows the system to cover the full light spectrum from ultraviolet through the visible to the infra-red.

A standard IR long-pass filter removes all wavelengths under 780nm, making the strobe invisible to the naked eye.

The modular architecture of the VIGI-Lux 5770 affords system designers more flexibility in configuring their end products.

The system is conveniently housed in a rugged weatherproof enclosure to protect against harsh environments.

"The VIGI-Lux 5770 is the newest addition to PerkinElmer's vision and illumination product family and its combination of high intensity illumination, rugged construction and convenient modular design demonstrates why PerkinElmer has been an innovative leader in the vision and illumination market for over 25 years", said Beth Haskell, Global Product Leader, Vision and Illumination Systems for PerkinElmer Optoelectronics.
