Phoenix Inspection Systems has upgraded its popular belt pipe scanner to carry out phased array inspections.
Originally from London, he now lives in Warrington.
Julie Norris, who has over 15 years' experience in the electronics and fibre-optics industries, joins the probe assembly team, and electronics engineer Chris McCann, a former gunner in the Royal Artillery, has been appointed as Probe Technician.
Both are from the Warrington area.
Karl Quirk, managing director of Phoenix, said: "Sales of probes have increased by around 30% over the past 12 months.
Our investment in new staff, a new order processing system and improvements in efficiency has boosted output and reduced delivery times".
"At the same time we have increased our exports by successfully penetrating new markets.
Approximately 25% of Phoenix products now go overseas.
These new appointments will help us to meet the higher levels of demand while maintaining our reputation for quality products and service".
