Like its predecessor, Magman Mk2 is a magnetic wheeled manual scanner that is ideal for inspecting tanks and pipework However this latest version is more compact and can scan pipes as small as 4in in diameter

It also offers improved suspension for dealing with weld caps and weld splatter and can be readily upgraded from a two-probe unit to a four-, six- or even eight-probe unit.

Dave Smith of Phoenix says: "When Magman was introduced several years ago, the first customer reported that it had saved him over US $100,000 in costs on a project to inspect an ammonia tank.

It has proved popular ever since.

In the latest model we have improved on the original design to allow even greater flexibility".

Magman Mk2 is fully encoded and can be used to carry out conventional ultrasonic and TOFD inspections.

A high temperature model can also be supplied.
