Designed for a wide range of high-speed, accurate measurements where fast decision making is required, Smart has eight in and out channels and a fully flexible programmable system.

In keeping with Penko's reputation for user-configurable programming, Smart includes a simple method for creating and updating recipes and Penko's PI freeware is also available to prepare a program on a PC.

Simple installation is also assured and a printer can be connected for hard-copy results.

Front panel controls make it easy for a nontechnical operator to select from a library of recipes.

Smart can be used in a Profibus configuration with PLCs and with other protocols.

It is particularly suited to check and batch weighing as well as filling applications, It offers excellent filtering and conditioning options and with up to 1000 conversions per second, up to 10,000 divisions, sequence markers and programmable buttons, Penko reckons Smart lives up to its name.
