A Platinum Sensors product story

A new low-cost temperature sensor offering the highest levels of measurement accuracy and long term stability is available from Platinum Sensors.

A new low-cost temperature sensor offering the highest levels of measurement accuracy and long term stability is available from Platinum Sensors.

The new sensor is a platinum resistance element to the internationally recognised Pt 1000 standard.

Designed for mounting onto printed circuit boards, it is an ideal replacement for lower accuracy thermistors or KTY type sensors in most temperature measurement or temperature compensation applications.

Packaged in an SMD 603 housing, the sensor measures only 1.6 x 0.85mm and is supplied in blister reels which are compatible with modern, automated assembly equipment.

The operating temperature range is -50 to +130C and the standard tolerance is only +/-0.24%.
