An enhanced range of low-cost, high-accuracy temperature sensors is now available from Platinum Sensors.

An enhanced range of low-cost, high-accuracy temperature sensors is now available from Platinum Sensors.

Supplied in standard SMD housings, three sizes of sensor are available: 1206, 805 and 603.

Nominal resistances at 0C are 100, 500, 1000 or 10kohm.

The sensors have a choice of solder pad materials including AgPdPt metallisation, tin plating with Ni barrier or AgPt thick film.

They are supplied in blister reels and are primarily designed for mounting onto printed circuit boards or hybrid circuits.

These platinum resistance elements offer a linear output together with high levels of accuracy, stability and interchangeability to the DIN EN60751 standard.

Normal operating temperature range is -50 to +130C although some versions can be used up to 170C in optimum conditions.

Measurement accuracy is +/-0.12 or +/-0.24%.
